Nice to see my SETI link is ranging far and wide. Very apt description. Sometimes I'm certain it's a series of gang-planks… though that may have been implied. My aim is to have the reader FEEL they are getting close to getting hold of something that CAPTURES MEANING they can put into words, then suddenly fall into the depths of "Huh!?" with conclusive morsels of their own imagination floating undisturbed in a sky the color of emptiness.
Had me laughing out loud in several spots like... "As it happens, most bad dates can be fixed with eyelash glue, eyebrows painted Cleopatra style reinforced by generous infusions of treacle."
Always promising insight, never quite resolving, walking the reader ever-further out on a linked series of rhetorical planks. Nicely done!
